| Abstract: | Відносно сучасні визначення «медичний туризм» і «оздоровчий туризм» характеризуються проведенням процедур або операцій, які плануються заздалегідь, що відбуваються поза звичайним місцем проживання пацієнта. Диверсифікація мотивації таких пацієнтів визначається складністю відносно загального ринку медичного туризму, оскільки їх мотивація може бути заснована на різних відмінних факторах, таких як: менші витрати на процедури в менш розвинених країнах / більш високий рівень послуг у розвинених країнах; щоб уникнути списків очікування своєї країни для певних хірургічних процедур / уникнути обмежувального закону ; віра в цілющий потенціал альтернативних процедур або лікарських засобів / тривожність за низький рівень вітчизняної медицини тощо. Комплексна парадигма підвищує теоретичну та практичну проблему внутрішньої структури медичного туризму, визначення місця розташування її елементу та суперечностей медичного туризму, медичного аутсорсингу та інших. |
| Description: | Relatively modern definitions “medical tourism” and “health tourism” refer to treatments or surgery that have been planned in advance to take place outside a patient’s usual place of residence. Diversification of motivation of such patients ads complexity to the general medical tourism market, because their motivation could be based on distinctive factors as: lower costs of procedures in less-developed countries / higher level of services in developed countries; the aim to avoid their home country’s health care waiting lists for certain surgical procedures / avoid law restrictions or limitations; belief in the healing potential of alternative procedures or medicines / anxiety for low level of domestic medicine etc. Such complex paradigm rises theoretical and practical problematic of inner structure of medical tourism, definition of its element’s placement and controversies of medical tourism, medical outsourcing and such. |
